Poetry Workshop
A book signing and poetry workshop will be held at Rhodes Estates on Thursday, November 7, 2017 at 11:30 am. Six of the poems published in “A Vibrant Awakening of Memories” were developed by Rhodes Estates residents. Our residents participate in a monthly poetry workshop held by Mr. John Conte. Mr. Conte, an employee of Progressive Home Health, holds these workshops for our residents to help with their cognitive abilities and to help stimulate their creativity.
The published anthology of poems, “A Vibrant Awakening of Memories” is available on Amazon for $14.95 with all proceeds being donated to Mother Theresa Hospice.
Everyone enjoys reading and developing new poems and to see how the process works, John will be hold a workshop at 1:30 to demonstrate the process. Come and join us for the book signing (at 11:30), and the workshop(at 1:30).
